The Journey of the Phatty

Our story began in the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic. What started as a humble food truck born from a passion for great food and old-school hip hop culture quickly evolved into an Albuquerque staple. We saw an opportunity to bring something unique to the community—a place where the community could gather for fresh, 100% all-angus beef and vibe out to iconic tracks.

The hustle paid off. Today, Phat Stax has expanded to two locations, bringing our signature smashed patties and hip-hop inspired menu to fans across the city. We've traded the truck for a themed restaurant experience, but our commitment to handcrafted quality remains exactly the same.
